OPEN POSITIONS

The Small Commercial Lines CSR will work within our Core Commercial Department in conjunction with the Core Account Managers and referring producers and will be responsible for assisting in the onboarding of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. They will need to provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of the Account Managers and Producers. Attention to detail and a willingness to work as part of a team are critical to the position. After an initial training period in our Westminster, Colorado office, we offer a hybrid remote work model.

Primary duties:

  • Promote and uphold our Company Core Values
  • Support the client experience by assisting the account manager with policy reviews and coverage recommendations, certificate and auto ID issuance, and policy research and data collection.
  • Assist Core Account Managers with renewal planning, processing, and reviews.
  • Assist Core Account Managers with small CL applications, change requests, endorsements, cancellations, certificates, payment processing, claims intake.
  • Provide outstanding service and build relationships with clients to assist them with their insurance needs.
  • Follow the agency process for managing all activity in our Agency Management System (Applied Epic).

  • Fast learner with acute attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

The Personal Lines Account Manager will work within our Personal Lines Department in conjunction with referring producers, and will be responsible for the inside sales, servicing, and relationship-building for our personal lines’ clients. They will assist with PL new and renewal account management, placement and coverage reviews, general account management, endorsements, and AMS (Applied Epic) maintenance.  An excellent phone presence and willingness to work as part of a team are critical to the position. We are seeking dynamic and driven sales professionals and leaders, who desire authentic and collaborative team experience to support their sales efforts, to join our team of Insurance Producers. 

The sales position requires adept communication abilities and a comprehensive understanding of the insurance products offered by our agency. Producers must demonstrate proficiency in both pursuing and closing sales of new and existing commercial and benefits accounts, as well as maintaining and retaining a book of business. The main objective of this role is to sell and renew insurance to businesses in the Denver metro area and beyond. 

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Producer you will seek new business primarily by prospecting and networking. Other responsibilities of the Producer role include:

  • Promote and uphold Conexus Core Values
  • Develop and nurture new leads from a variety of prospecting techniques.
  • Contact prospects to provide consultative services and make sales appointments.
  • Survey prospects to determine needs and review insurance strategy.
  • Collect detailed risk and underwriting information, including survey data and loss history for prospects and clients.
  • Develop and prepare formal insurance proposals and analysis, including coverages, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information for new and renewal business.
  • Conduct client and prospect appointments, communicate proposals and renewals, explain details, and communicate the desire to conduct business.
  • Embrace team-orientated sales servicing of clients and delegate accordingly.
  • Master a deep knowledge of one or two chosen vertical markets.
  • Meet forecasted premium volume and commission growth goals.
  • Maintains relationships with existing clients.
  • Promote agency and insurance industry in the community.
  • Commit to intense effort in understanding the products and market conditions to better help clients and the community.
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives

Additional Skills, Qualifications, Education and/or Experience Require for Success at our Agency:

You must be an independent, self-starter who is able to sell and develop strong business-to-business relationships. We are seeking confident professionals who are not afraid of cold-calling and developing new business. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals.

  • Colorado P&C License Required
