This December, our Conexus Cares spotlight shines on A Precious Child, a Colorado nonprofit that provides opportunities and resources to children facing poverty—helping them thrive and reach their full potential.

Since 2008, A Precious Child has worked to bridge the gap between children in need and the resources that help them grow. Through programs focused on essentials, education, and empowerment, they serve thousands of children and families across eight Colorado counties.
Their mission is simple but powerful:
“To provide children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential.”
Everything they do is rooted in dignity—ensuring families have the support they need to move from crisis to stability, and children have the confidence to learn, play, and dream.

❤️ Conexus in Action
Throughout December, our team is joining in to help make the holidays brighter for Colorado kids:
- Volunteering in A Precious Child’s Holiday Toy Store, where we’ll help sort and prepare gifts that fulfill children’s Christmas wishes. Those gifts are then distributed to community partners who deliver them to local families.
- Hosting a Christmas Wish Tree in our Westminster office to grant holiday wishes for children in need.
- Sharing A Precious Child’s story and impact all month long to inspire others to get involved.
These small acts of service help ensure that more children across Colorado experience the joy, dignity, and hope that the holiday season brings.
