Conexus Cares: Meet the Nonprofits We’re Supporting in Q1 of 2026

Q1-Conexus-Cares-Blog-Banner-2026

At Conexus Insurance Partners, we believe in supporting the community that supports us. Through Conexus Cares, we are committed to supporting organizations that strengthen our community, uplift families, and create lasting impact across Colorado.

As we begin the first quarter of 2026, we’re excited to spotlight three remarkable nonprofits that align with our mission and values: CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties, Broomfield FISH, and Project Angel Heart. These organizations embody compassion, advocacy, and empowerment—qualities we deeply believe in.

Here’s a closer look at their missions and how Conexus will be partnering with each of them in the months ahead.

Advocating for the Most Vulnerable

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) ensures that abused and neglected children have a voice in the court system and the opportunity to find safe, permanent homes. Their volunteers play a critical role in guiding and advocating for children during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

How Conexus Will Support CASA in Q1

  • Awareness Through Social Media
We’ll highlight CASA’s mission and impact through dedicated social media posts to help expand community awareness and encourage volunteerism.
  • Leadership Commitment
Our own Managing Partner, Sara Hoffman, continues her service on CASA’s Board of Directors, reinforcing our long-term commitment to their mission.

Fighting Hunger and Strengthening Families

Broomfield FISH provides food, emergency financial assistance, and wrap-around support to help families meet basic needs and work toward self-sufficiency. Their “neighbors helping neighbors” approach resonates deeply with our People-First values.

How Conexus Will Support Broomfield FISH in Q1

  • Healthy Kids Snacks Shelf Adoption
We’re proud to adopt a Healthy Kids Snacks Shelf to help ensure children and families have reliable access to nutritious, kid-friendly food options.
  • “Love Your Neighbor” February Food Drive
Throughout February, we’ll host a Conexus-wide food drive to help keep FISH’s shelves stocked and support families facing food insecurity.

Food as Medicine for People Facing Serious Illness

Project Angel Heart prepares and delivers medically tailored meals to Coloradans with cancer, heart disease, HIV/AIDS, kidney failure, and other severe illnesses. Their work strengthens health outcomes and provides comfort and nourishment to those who need it most.

How Conexus Will Support Project Angel Heart in Q1

  • Kitchen Volunteer Event – March 25
Our team will come together in the Project Angel Heart kitchen to prepare meals that directly support individuals with critical health needs.
  • Decorating Meal Bags With Heart
We’ll decorate meal bags to add warmth, hope, and encouragement—small personal touches that make every delivery feel more special.

Building Stronger Communities, Together

Through Conexus Cares, our goal is simple: to support organizations that lift people up, create opportunity, and strengthen the communities we call home. We are grateful for the chance to partner with these Q1 nonprofits and look forward to creating meaningful impact together.

Thank you to our incredible team for continually showing up with generosity, enthusiasm, and the spirit of “We Make It Fun.” Your energy is what makes Conexus Cares possible.

Here’s to an inspiring start to 2026 and another year of giving back—together.
