Conexus Cares Q4: Giving Back to Our Community
At Conexus Insurance, giving back isn’t something we save for a particular season. Through Conexus Cares, our team has opportunities throughout the year to get involved with local organizations doing meaningful work in the communities where we live and work.
As we head into the final quarter of the year, we’re supporting three Colorado nonprofits focused on strengthening families, creating opportunities, and making the holidays a little brighter.
Here’s what’s ahead for Conexus Cares this fall.
🌾 October: Growing Home
Growing Home works alongside families to create a pathway toward stability and opportunity. Their programs address needs including food insecurity, housing stability, parenting education, and early childhood development.
Conexus in Action
Throughout October, we’ll host our Noodles for Neighbors Pasta Drive, collecting pasta and other requested items for Growing Home. At the end of the month, our team will deliver everything collected to help stock their shelves and support local families.
We’ll also spend the month sharing more about Growing Home and the work they’re doing in our community.
🤝 November: Friends of Broomfield
Friends of Broomfield creates opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build friendships, participate in meaningful activities, and be active members of their community.
And in November, we get to join in the fun.
Conexus in Action
Our team will spend time with FRIENDS participants during one of their day program classes and join their Friendsgiving Celebration in November, with Conexus providing the ham and turkey for the celebration.
We’ll also support the Friendsgiving Fundraiser by matching donations up to $1,000, helping FRIENDS continue creating opportunities for connection, independence, and belonging.
🎁 December: A Precious Child
We’ll close out the year with A Precious Child, an organization that provides children facing poverty with resources and opportunities to help them thrive.
During the holidays, that mission takes on an especially meaningful role as A Precious Child works to make sure children throughout our community have gifts waiting for them at Christmas.
Conexus in Action
Members of our team will volunteer in A Precious Child’s Holiday Toy Store, helping sort and prepare gifts based on children’s Christmas wishes. Those gifts are then distributed through community partners to families in need.
We’ll also host a Christmas Wish Tree in the Conexus office, giving our team another opportunity to personally help fulfill holiday wishes for local children.
💙 Showing Up Matters
Conexus Cares is about more than making donations. It’s about giving our time, getting involved, and supporting organizations doing important work right here in our community.
This quarter, that means supporting families through Growing Home, spending time with our FRIENDS in Broomfield, and helping make the holidays brighter for children through A Precious Child.
